MTP Adventures
Join MTP for an exceptional 5-day adventure that will enhance your motorcycle skills while staying in radio contact with a professional instructor. This experience offers a chance to connect with fellow enthusiasts and obtain an industry-recognized qualification overseen by the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency, all while navigating tried-and-tested routes.
We believe this experience is unmatched elsewhere, designed specifically for full license holders looking to improve their skills and tackle the journey from Wales through England, the Lake District, and the Scottish Highlands.
The program spans 6 days and includes 4 nights of bed and breakfast at a spa hotel in Scotland, along with an evening meal.
Day one begins in Wales, where you'll meet the instructors, enjoy a short ride, participate in a group theory session, and set up communication.
On day two, we will gather as a group in South Wales before departing in smaller groups through the Heart of Wales, then onto the motorway for a short ride. We will exit around the scenic Lake District into Northern England, crossing into Scotland at the famous Gretna Green, and ending the day at a comfortable hotel in Paisley with a warm welcome waiting for you. While it's a long ride, the journey is well worth it, as our instructors are very familiar with this route and will ensure plenty of comfort breaks along the way.
Throughout the week, we will explore the highlands and return to the hotel for evening meals and relaxation. The hotel offers secure off-road parking and excellent facilities.
We have a set itinerary for routes, and you will receive personalized training and support from your instructor each day. If you have specific requests, please let us know, and we'll strive to accommodate you, though changes may occur as we discover fantastic roads and Explore! if there is something specific you would like to see please let us know and we will try and plan it in.
This course will take you through Wales, England, and Scotland, covering around 1800 miles on this unique motorcycle journey.
With the highest qualified instructors, you will be in experienced hands, maintaining radio contact for the duration.
We will ride some of the UK's most breath-taking and challenging roads, including Glencoe, Oban, Inveraray, Mallaig, and Fort William, leaving on Friday we will travel as a group ride along the B7078 before dispersing to head home.
Please note there’s no obligation to return to South Wales after the course, but I can escort you back through the Lake District if desired.
This is an intensive experience with high mileage on certain days delivering training at the highest level.
The total cost for the training and four nights of accommodation from Monday to Thursday is a £250 deposit followed by two payments of £600. This fee does not cover your personal daytime refreshments or fuel, which will be at your own expense.
As demand for this course is expected to be high, secure your spot on the list as soon as possible. A non-refundable deposit of £250 is required at the time of booking to secure your accommodation.
